April '09 - Spring has Sprung at La Seigneurie Gardensspring1

Spring has well and truly sprung at La Seigneurie Gardens and many of the three thousand bulbs we planted last winter are in full bloom. The gardens are spring2planted to look their best in summer, particularly late summer, but one of La Seigneurie Gardens Trust’s ideas is to add an extra splash of colour in spring to encourage visitors earlier in the season and give regular visitors something new to admire. And with the existing bulbs, cherry blossom, bluebells and the stunning magnolia tree in full bloom, there's no shortage of spring beauties to admire in the Gardens at this time of year.
